Winnie Goes to Camp

This week, Mom put me in the carrier and I thought we were going to the vet, but instead we went to Girl Scout Camp. Mom used to go to camp but now that she's grown up, she took me so the campers could learn about what it's like to live with bunnies. Mom even took some of my "marbles" to show them - so embarrassing! Well the girls were very nice and thought I was so cute, but of course I knew they would. They made a circle and I hopped around and met all of them (some had treats for me). Then they got to pet me one at a time. Mom said I was such a good girl and then she took me home and gave me a good dinner - I was hungry after all that hard work!

Bunny's World Address

Bunny, here. I am pleased to make this speech at the historic cage wall of Belle and Pearl. Today I am celebrating not only my outstanding campaign for President of the NC Bunny Blog, but more importantly, the Brillante Weblog award we received from our kind neighbors at Furry Butts. Only at NC Bunny could a regular bun like me grow to such greatness. I love the NC Bunny Blog and want to thank Furry Butts for this award. Gate guard

Are you going to let us out to play again? We'd like to explore the rest of the house but some meanie keeps growling at us at that gate over there by the door...


Winnie guards the gate to the rest of the house from those gray ones. If they approach, they will receive a good boxing and possibly a haircut if they stick their heads through to sniff.

They look innocent, but you just don't know. Lucky I'm here, really. Please give me a raise.

4th of July... almost!

The bun-rents are off to the beach. Thankfully, they left all our bunny costumes in Raleigh so we did not have to dress up this year for the 4th of July, but instead got treats for free! Winnie said her photos were so good last year anyway that we would not be able to top them this year. Anyway, mom says she is bringing all the costumes with her next week but maybe instead she will find us something at the beach that is a little more bun-tastic than a patriotic hat. We shall see... adios until next week!
