Lily, Pearl, and Belle

Foster Mom made us a nice clean cage while we were out playing today! Thanks to everyone for the donations so far - our pellet bowl is nice and full. We are also enjoying plenty of hay and a few toys here and there. Foster Mom says you can all still email her at kimberly1210@gmail.com to offer additional help. We're excited that we might have a new home any day and can't wait to meet our future parents! Those other little tiny babies are doing just fine so far. Keep checking the blog for more pictures.

Calabash had babies!

That's right, this morning while I was rubbing Cali's nose through the cage I noticed movement in her nesting box. Sure enough, we discovered her litter that must have arrived last night. Cali made them a nice nest with lots of fur to keep them warm. We're counting 8 right now but didn't want to disturb them too much. Here is the picture I snapped quickly. We're going to need donations now more than ever. You can send them via paypal to kimberly1210@gmail.com.

Cute faces

Bunny Mom and Dad say they just don't know what to do with all the cute bunny faces around! Both old and new faces are loving the camera. Pictured below are Winnie, Calabash (Cali), and Lily - Lily actually loves to be held!
My what big fingers you have Bunny Foster Mommy - or maybe I just have a small body (not for long with all the pellets I eat).

Pellets for me?

Are there pellets in here? Is there a bunny in here? Just hop on in little Lily, the pellets are all yours for now.
Ahh, yes I have found a pellet! We're working on a Paypal button, but this should work (let me know if not) through Paypal. Thank you for your kind thoughts - as you can see the bunnies are doing great in their new foster home!

Send directly for Cali, Lily, Pearl, and Belle (our foster buns) to kimberly1210@gmail.com through Paypal.

New NC Bunnies!

These adorable bunnies were surrendered by their owner who just had too many Easter bunnies! Luckily these 4, along with about 19 others were rescued by Bunny Matters in Raleigh, NC and placed into foster homes. The three babies are about 5 weeks old and the adult is about 6 months - all girls! If you are able to help with a donation or are interested in adopting one (or more) of these very cute and friendly buns, please email me at kimberly1210@gmail.com.

Stay tuned to the blog for more photos and updates. The bunnies just arrived last night to our foster home but as you can see, are already settling in to the fabulous life that is the NC Bunny Home. They seem to all be in good health and are eating hay and pellets, and drinking water. We also fed the babies some Pedialite to help them with any dehydration. They actually liked the apple flavor! All of them will need to be spayed so if you are able to make a donation, we - and the other 6 foster moms - would really appreciate it!

When Easter chicks attack...

The rabbit has been one of the most popular Easter symbols since the early 1500s. The chick is tired of taking second place and seeks to reclaim his rightful place in history. Unfortunately, the chick was no match for mightly Bunny and Winnie, who have gained strength through hearty hay and pellets!

A fatal chin to the neck and the bunny has once again secured his place in Easter-dom.

Hoppy Easter!

We hope all the other bunnies got nice Easter baskets and most importantly, an extra slice of banana!
