Too cute to punish

Winnie says she is sorry for tearing a thread out of the carpet. She tried to put it back but she kept having the urge to pull harder and made the run bigger and bigger until her teeth chewed through the thread. She thought it was really fun when I came and pointed at her hard work and told her that was not good. I'll have to put a stop to this before my whole rug gets eaten alive...

A tight spot

So last night I was watching tv and I heard this little grunting noise. I looked down to see if Bunny just had a good itch or what and found that he had wedged himself in between his cage and the wall. Usually there is just about an inch of space, but I guess there was about 3 inches this time and you know how bunnies love to explore tight spaces. Well Bunny had flattened himself completely into the 3 inches of space and his fur and fat was sticking through the bars of his cage and his poor little feet were trying to push his body one way or the other. He had given up trying to go forward and started grunting in the struggle to go backward. What a poor Bunny, I said, and moved the cage to let the fat bunny out. Instead of thanks, though, Bunny looked at me like it was my fault and ran to go wash his face. I told him he better be careful or his face would freeze like that.

A chin and a lick

These are my nice bunny parents and I keep their picture very close especially when they are out of town and I have the place to myself. I try to behave since they are watching, but I did pull up a thread from the rug under my magic chair while everyone was gone. They couldn't see because they were looking at my cage instead. To show them how much I love them, I chinned the corners of the frame thoroughly and gave them a little lick on the right. Then I will always be with them.

Tea, anyone?

I have a very fun new tea set to play with. Kimberly and I had a nice tea party this evening after dinner. We asked Winnie to join us but she was playing in her box in the living room. Kimberly went to the Wake County SPCA today and saw Winnie's twin who was found just wandering around out in the great wide open. I'm scared of all of that grass but Marcus (Winnie's SPCA twin) was very brave until someone found him and gave him a nice new place at the shelter. You can see Marcus at www.spcawake.org. He doesn't have his own website like we do, but maybe his future parents will make him one. Anyway, I am going to go enjoy my tea set. Leave me a message to tell me if you like it! Love, Bunny

Happy 4th of July!

Bunny and Winnie had a great time at the beach. Winnie was a little upset that she didn't have the largest bedroom, but she enjoyed having lots of new visitors around. Bunny was excited because he got to explore the master bedroom at the condo when we were out watching fireworks... apparently he snuck out of his room without telling me and I put up the bunny gate so he had to hang out down the hall until I got home and let him back into his room. But like I said, he was really excited to be out and about in a new place. They particularly enjoyed riding the luggage cart up the elevator to the 3rd floor condo and having people say hello to them. Apparently they are quite famous from this webpage - keep coming to see us, they say, and be sure to say hello next time you see us riding a luggage cart to the beach!
