See ya!

Winnie is ready to go to the beach too. She grabbed her fishy to put in her suitcase. Winnie has not been to the beach before so this will be a big adventure... check back on Wednesday the 6th to hear about our trip!

Beach time

Bunny, it's time to pack up and go to the beach for the 4th of July. We'll have cookouts and eat watermelon! Wait... you're too scared to try any of that, but you can bring your surfer girl and run around under the beds at the condo...that will be almost as fun.

Jingle bell bird

Winnie wanted to show you that she has a friend also - jingle bell bird. She doesn't kiss jingle bell bird like Bunny kisses lion though. Winnie likes to take jingle bell bird in her teeth and throw her across the room. Also, she will dig on jingle bell bird until it flies under her tummy and through her back legs and away from her. Deep down she likes him I think.

Dinner time again

After finishing his banana, Bunny inhales his cilantro two at a time. Some of Bunny's toys are in this picture... the little lion is his favorite and when I hold it out and make it hop towards him, he purrs and comes up to give it a hello kiss.

ZZzzz...

It was too much digging for Winnie's body to take. Don't worry, she's still alive, just taking a short nap.

Lip-licking good

Bunny is so excited to get his dinner a little earlier than usual. It looks like a large plate of food, but really the lettuce on the bottom was just pushing the cilantro off to one side. Bunny is eating his small banana slice and if you look closely, you can see that he's licking his lips. Mmmm... they love banana.

Winnie's new box part 4

Winnie couldn't stand it anymore and had to go tear up her box this morning. Sometimes she chews on the pieces of cardboard she rips up, but mostly she makes a big mess on the carpet for me to pick up.

My feet are falling asleep, Winnie.

What do you look like with ears that stand up? Hmmm... still cute!

Lap-bunny

Since Bunny was playing in his castle, I came to see Winnie and she sat down in my lap! I patted her head and her ears for a long long time and she even tolerated a few more pictures.

Bunny, won't you come out of your castle and play with me? No, I'm having a good time just looking out my window.

"Pellets for me?"

Bunny smells the fresh pellets and wonders if I will give him some too. Not to worry, Bun, new pellets are on the way!

Time for food

This is one of Winnie's favorite activities: eating pellets while sitting in her litterbox. That way she can eat and poop at the same time if she wants. Haha, just kidding, she only poops in the back corner of her box so in this picture she is sitting in the clean front half. Looks like her pellet bowl needs a refill though. I'll go take care of that.

Ah-ha... there is evidence of Winnie playing in her box while I was away at work. I knew she would like it, she just didn't want me to see.

Sleepy Bunnies

The bunnies are about to go to bed... they just got a refill of pellets, which they were very happy about. We play a game when I refill their pellet bowls where Bunny follows me into the closet to get the pellets then he runs at full speed back to his cage where he gets to eat a pellet from the cup before I dump them all into his bowl. Then I go to Winnie and she gets to eat a pellet out of the cup. She doesn't always catch onto the game and sometimes bites the cup and tugs it towards the bowl in her cage, causing me to spill pellets all over the carpet. She then looks at me like don't I know the pellets are supposed to go in her bowl and not all over the carpet, and I say yes Winnie I know that but you didn't play the game right.

Bunny after dinner

Bunny is full after his nice dinner of greens (note the empty plate) and is taking a rest. He's looking a little scruffy, but still cute.

Too bright!

Winnie still hasn't gone into her box. After this flash incident, she went back to her cage to munch on some hay. :)

Winnie is sniffing out her new box to make sure it's OK.

She hasn't worked up the courage to go in yet, though. Maybe tomorrow, she says.

Winnie's new box

As I have mentioned before, Winnie loves boxes. She will dig a hole in the bottom and then I will rotate the box for her so she has a fresh side to dig in. Her current boxes were barely standing after all of her digging and chewing, so I set up a fresh new box for her. This is the box... let's see if she likes it.
